We took part in the Race for the Cure along with several other CALFIRE employees and their families as part of Team Peas. This walk supported breast cancer survivors and victims. It was great to see so many people supporting such a worthy cause. As a cancer survivor myself, it hits really close to home knowing that there are so many people willing to give up their Sunday morning.
